Milan Fashion Week

Pasticceria Marchesi, established in 1824, is one of Milan’s oldest and finest pastry shops. It was recently acquired by Prada, so it’s sure to be a hit with the fashion crowd.

Witness Café Polisson, where Nathalie Joly pays tributes to the courtesans, kept women, absinthe drinkers, and ladies of the night from the Belle Epoque (“Beautiful Era”). The show opens the Musee d’Orsay’s first major exhibit on the subject of prostitution.

New York Fashion Week
September 10th–17th

Thanks to Anna Wintour culture and fashion always meet at the Met. This year’s costume exhibition, China: Through the Looking Glass, explores the impact of Chinese aesthetics on Western fashion. It runs through September 7th, so you’ll have to arrive a few days early, but it’s worth it.

Betsey Johnson always plays by her own set of rules and she’s a constant reminder that fashion can be fun, so her show is guaranteed to be a blast.

The larger than life displays in the NYC Moschino Boutique create a shopping environment just as vibrant and funky as you would expect. It’s a must stop spot for a SoHo sojourn.

If you have time to grab more than a quick salad in between fashion shows Forgetmenot is everything you could want in a New York restaurant. It’s an eclectic whole-in-the-wall tavern with amazing food, cheap cocktails, and there’s a good chance you’ll spot a celebrity or two.

London Fashion Week
September 18th– 22nd
