Our luggage tag charms are inspired by luggage tags airports use to convey their airport code, called the IATA code (more on this below.)  Our love of travel led us to embrace this popular and unique shape. At the moment we offer 218 luggage tags each representing an airport.  So if you love going to Paris, you’ll most likely travel through CDG, Charles De Gaulle Airport. Or if you’ve been to Tokyo, you’ve most likely flown into Narita International Airport.  And so you can relive all your adventures by collecting a luggage tag for every airport you’ve flown into.  Many of our customers also love wearing the luggage tag for their home airport. Luggage Tags come in different shapes but in general, most of our luggage tags are about 22mm long while the mini is about 14mm long.

Yes, our standard size luggage tag charms are engravable. You can engrave up to 20 characters on 2 lines.  Our mini luggage tags charms are not engravable.

Our Solid Gold charms are made of 14K solid gold. 14K solid gold refers to an alloy that contains 58.3% pure gold and 41.7% other metals, such as copper, silver, nickel, or zinc. Here are some key points about 14K solid gold:

1. Purity: 14K gold is 14 parts gold out of 24, meaning it is 58.3% pure gold. The remaining 41.7% consists of other metals that are added to enhance the durability and hardness of the gold.
2. Durability: Because it contains a significant percentage of other metals, 14K gold is harder and more durable than higher-karat gold. This makes it a popular choice for jewelry that is worn daily, such as engagement rings, wedding bands, and bracelets.

Gold vermeil (pronounced "ver-may") is a type of high-quality gold plating over a base of sterling silver. To qualify as vermeil, the gold layer must be at least 2.5 microns thick and typically uses 14k or higher gold. This creates a luxurious appearance similar to solid gold at a more affordable price.

Each airport has an IATA airport code. These codes are three-letter designations assigned by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to uniquely identify airports around the world.
