Mini News: Meet the Expanded Jet Set Candy Mini Collection

Mini News: Meet the Expanded Jet Set Candy Mini Collection

We’ve been hearing the same request for years: more Minis.

Customers have asked for them. Our Grand Central store team has asked for them. And after seeing how much people love the solid gold Mini collection, we decided it was time to make the whole idea much bigger.

Or smaller, technically.

Over 100 Jet Set Candy designs are now launching in 925 sterling silver and 14k gold vermeil, which means more than 200 new Mini charm options are joining the collection.

There are Mini Passport Stamps, Mini Luggage Tags and tiny versions of the travel icons we’re known for: surfboards, palm trees, pretzels, margaritas, landmarks and plenty of things that make perfect sense if you traveled there.

Same places. Smaller scale.

The point of the Mini Collection was never just to shrink things.

A Mini still has to feel like Jet Set Candy. It still needs the destination details, the IYKYK references and the little things you notice when you look closer at a charm.

That means airport codes still read like airport codes. Passport Stamps still pull from the real entry and exit stamps that inspired the collection to begin with. And even the smallest icon needs enough character to remind you of the real thing.

The expanded lineup includes country charms, city charms and travel icons tied to food, beaches, landmarks, culture and the details that become shorthand for an entire trip. Some of the smallest designs still carry surprisingly specific details, from the texture on a pretzel to surfboard fins or the lattice architecture of the Eiffel Tower.

Small is great. Generic is not.

Silver, gold vermeil, solid gold. Preferably together.

The original Mini collection started in 14k solid gold. Now more than 100 designs are joining our fleet of Minis in sterling silver and gold vermeil, opening up considerably more ways to build your bracelet or necklace.

Choose silver. Choose gold. Mix both. Add solid gold when you want to.

We particularly love Minis in mixed metals because each one brings something different to the collection.

925 sterling silver keeps things bright and easy to layer.

14k gold vermeil adds rich warmth and a luxe finish.

14k solid gold is the heirloom choice—made to last, wear beautifully and become part of your story for years to come.

And there is absolutely no matching required.

A silver Mini Passport Stamp can sit beside a gold vermeil Mini Luggage Tag and the solid gold crown you bought for the trip that really deserved it. The smaller scale keeps mixed metals feeling light and collected rather than overly coordinated.

Trips don’t all happen at the same time, cost the same amount or mean the same thing. Your bracelet doesn’t need to pretend they did.

For anyone who speaks fluent airport code

The Mini Luggage Tags take one of our most recognizable ideas and make the design crisp, recognizable and perfectly proportioned without losing what makes it work.

You still get the IATA code, destination name and the vintage luggage-tag inspiration behind the original collection. Depending on the design, there may also be flags, local symbols and other destination-specific details that make it all the more special.

LHR. JFK. CDG. FCO.

If those look like destinations instead of letters to you, you already understand the appeal.

Passport Stamps, but Mini

The Mini Passport Stamps work the same way.

They are based on the entry and exit stamps you get in your real passport book that inspired our original Passport Stamp collection, with country-specific artwork and details carried over into the smaller format. Depending on the design, that can include flags, coats of arms, coordinates, national symbols and the local language.

Some people collect the country they just visited.

Some collect their travel goals.

Some collect where they grew up.

Some collect the places they return to over and over.

Some are clearly working through their whole passport.

And then there are the tiny things

Not every trip needs a country or city charm.

Sometimes the better memory is the coffee, the cocktail, the beach day, the boat ride, the best meal ever or the inside joke everyone kept talking about.

That is what the Mini travel icons are good at.

They can sit next to a city or country charm and make the story more specific. A Passport Stamp tells you where you went. A tiny kangaroo might tell you what you actually remember.

That is very much how we think about travel jewelry in general. The point is not simply to label a place. It is to catch enough of it that the piece feels personal to someone who has actually been there.

They also happen to make really good gifts

There is a lot going for a tiny charm as a gift.

They look special. They are specific enough to show that you actually know the person you are buying for. And in sterling silver and gold vermeil, you can give someone a real piece of Jet Set Candy jewelry without turning a birthday present into a major financial event.

Pick the city they consider their “happy place.” The country from the trip you took together. Their hometown. The place they studied abroad. Or the tiny croissant because Paris ruined breakfast everywhere else for life.

One Mini is a complete little gift on its own. Add a chain or bracelet if you want to start something they can keep building.

And if they already collect Jet Set Candy, even easier. You probably know exactly which trip is missing.

How to wear Mini charms

One Mini on a chain works perfectly well on its own.

A few together create a curated little travel collection.

Minis can also be mixed with standard-size charms, which is where things get more interesting. A Mini Passport Stamp can sit beside a standard 3D charm. A tiny Luggage Tag can nicely punctuate a standard-size Boarding Pass from the same trip. Different scales make the collection feel less uniform and more like something collected over time.

Mini charms can be worn on Jet Set Candy chains and bracelets, and they are a particularly natural fit on the Slim Infinity Bracelet. JSC’s Infinity system is designed to let charms be added and rearranged as the collection grows.

There is no need to plan the whole thing in advance.

That tends to happen organically after a few trips.

Why now?

Simply, because people kept asking.

The request for more Mini styles—and for silver and gold vermeil versions—has been coming up for years. Our store team has heard it directly from customers for just as long.

And it makes sense.

Jet Set Candy customers already build collections over time. They add a charm after a trip, then another, then another. Our verified customer reviews regularly talk about bracelets growing across years of travel, which is exactly what the Mini format is good at.

“I love going through the stamps and remembering all our adventures. I can't wait to get more!”

Minis give people more room and more ways to do that.

More destinations. More details. More charms on one bracelet without losing the things that made the trip specific in the first place.

One thing to know

We are launching more than 100 styles, but the assortment may not stay exactly the same forever.

Some Minis may become permanent favorites. Some may not.

So if the city, country or tiny object you’ve been dreaming of is here now, consider this a sign to make it yours once and for all.

Start small

The expanded Jet Set Candy Mini Collection is now available in sterling silver, 14k gold vermeil and 14k solid gold.

More than 100 styles. More than 200 new silver and gold vermeil charm options. A lot more ways to build a travel collection without taking up much room.
