The two-tone can design features a contrasting silver “America” in script above a signature swirl. On the back, ingredients are engraved above a star-studded barcode and list those all-American originals that make up the national tapestry from dreams to apple pie. Charm is affixed to the jump with, what else, a soda can tab for the full effect.

Gold vermeil (pronounced: vermay) is the official name for a heavy gold electroplating over a base of sterling silver. A minimum thickness of 2.5 microns of gold must be deposited before it can be marked or sold as Vermeil.
