Jet Set Candy uses the superiority of gold vermeil as it's one of the thickest forms of plating.
Gold vermeil (pronounced: vermay) is the official name for a heavy gold electroplating over a base of sterling silver. A minimum thickness of 2.5 microns of gold must be deposited before it can be marked or sold as Vermeil.
